Distribution and Availability

  • Temporarily Free Student and Faculty Access 
    As a result of campus closure, Adobe has provided temporary at-home access for impacted students and faculty so that they can continue their work remotely. See this article for instructions. Faculty and staff have additional options described below.
  • NYU-owned Devices:
    • Faculty and staff can download an individual Adobe Creative Cloud 2019 license through NYU OnTheHub. After installing the Adobe CC console on your machine, please login using your NYU NetID email (e.g., and select the "Enterprise ID" option to authenticate with NYU SSO. See the NYU ServiceLink knowledge base for detailed instructions. This subscription is free of charge to current NYU faculty and staff, and can be installed on up to two devices, whether University- or personally-owned.

      Note: All faculty and staff with older versions of Adobe CC installed should follow the instructions above to upgrade their software as soon as possible.

    • Lab managers can inquire about the updated Adobe Creative Cloud SDL (Shared Device Licensing) offering for classroom and lab environments by contacting the NYU IT Service Desk.
