The ITP/IMA Winter Show Celebrates the Diverse Uses of Technology in Art

In December 2019, NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts put on its annual ITP/IMA Winter Show, a two-day exhibition showcasing creative projects by Tisch’s undergraduate IMA and graduate ITP students. Between December 15th and 16th, Brooklyn’s Jay Street building housed more than 100 distinct pieces of interactive media, exploring confrontations between technology, the natural world, society, and politics in a range of visual and sonic forms.

The NYU IT department spoke with the creative teams behind many of the pieces while hundreds of visitors, including NYU President Andrew Hamilton, explored the projects.
