NYU IT is hosting the inaugural NYU Technology Summit to celebrate and showcase innovative and emerging technologies used in teaching, learning, research, administration, and entrepreneurial efforts in tech, and beyond. The event will be open to all NYU students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and there is no charge to attend.

The Summit will feature special guest and keynote speaker Dr. Yann LeCun, Vice President and Chief Artificial Intelligence Scientist at Facebook, and Silver Professor of Computer Science, Neural Science, and Electrical and Computer Engineering at NYU.
A preliminary program of the day's workshops and presentations is now available. Note that additions and changes may occcur up until the time of the event. Please check back for updates, including times and room locations. No registation for individual workshops and events is requrired.
The Summit will also feature a closing plenary session featuring some of the most prominent leaders in technology at NYU and beyond. We are pleased to announce this discussion will be moderated by Clay Shirky, the NYU Vice Provost for Educational Technologies. Joining Shirky as panelists are the Dean of the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Jelena Kovačević and Senior Vice President of Data Products and Platforms at Turner Broadcasting, Robyn Peterson.
Calling all NYU faculty, students, and administrators! We invite you to volunteer at the NYU Tech Summit on Wednesday, November 14th. To sign up to volunteer, fill out this form. There will be three volunteer shifts to choose from: 9:00am - 5:00pm ; 7:00am - 12:30pm; 12:00pm - 5:30pm. Sign up early to ensure a spot!
Please be sure to confirm the approval of your supervisor before signing up. Additional details, including mandatory briefing session dates, are included on the registration form.
Attendees will have the unique chance to participate in the Summit's on-site mentorship program, which will provide 15-minute mentoring sessions throughout the day where you can participate as a mentor or mentee. Mentors will have the opportunity to offer targeted guidance in a brief but meaningful interaction with various members of the NYU community. Mentees will have the opportunity to benefit from technology experts’ insights and have conversations on areas of mutual interest.
