Statement on Ukraine—Resources Included

Dear NYU Community Members,
As an NYU community, we firmly repudiate violence, racism, bias, and any manifestation of brutality against a specific community. They are counter to our global values, and today we want to reaffirm our values again, especially as we recognize the global impact of the invasion of Ukraine.
The rising levels of intolerance, aggression, and totalitarianism worldwide, and the human tragedy and violence against Ukrainians are terrifying and deeply alarming. The Office of Global Inclusion continues to support all of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and recognizes that many of our NYU community members across the world are impacted by conflict, state-sanctioned violence, and ongoing human rights abuses.
As we have stated previously, it is each of our responsibility to proactively condemn any acts of violence. As a community, it is vital to engage in ongoing conversations and discourse to raise awareness and support one another. In this spirit, we continually work with partners to promote research, resources, and programs —some of the ongoing work across NYU is highlighted below:
