The Center for Multicultural Education and Programs (CMEP) offers a vast array of educational and social events, programs, and resources that aim to engage, support, empower, and celebrate students of color and those of historically marginalized and excluded groups—throughout NYU’s global network and around the world. Everyone is welcome to join, learn, and connect; to deepen their networks and build bridges across groups. CMEP is part of a broad spectrum of programs and services dedicated to fostering belonging and inclusion. We are committed to helping all community members discover a holistic range of resources at NYU.

CMEP Lounge and Conference Room
The CMEP Lounge (#804) and CMEP Conference Room (#805) are located on the 8th floor of the Kimmel Center for University Life.
The Lounge is available for printing, studying, and just being during Kimmel Center hours of operation. We will also adhere to Kimmel Center policies for lounges.
NYU Counseling and Wellness Services, offers short-term counseling, group therapy, and psychological consultations to the CMEP community. You can schedule an appointment by calling Counseling and Wellness Services at 212-998-4780.
If you would like CMEP to cosponsor your event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at least five weeks before your event. You will be asked to provide promotional materials that meet specific requirements for your request to be considered.
