Event Traditions

  • The Class Activities Boards each host a Welcome Back Class Reception for their class. Receptions have included Sophomore Sundaes, Junior Picnic, and Happy Last First Day for Seniors.

  • A gritty, funny musical about the lives of NYU students as they experience an array of confounding, confusing, and exciting issues. This production, presented each year to the new incoming class, is also featured each year during Welcome {Back} Week for all students.

  • NYU Program Board's biggest annual event, from Hip-Hop and Hardcore to Indie Rock and Black Metal, Program Board, each year this show features a mystery performance of buzzbands, solo artists even DJs.

  • Club Fest provides an opportunity for students to learn more about ways to get involved on campus. A showcase of student clubs, organizations, fraternities and sororities, athletic teams, clubs and intramural sports.

  • Open to Juniors and Seniors. Organizations from a wide variety of for-profit and non-profit industries visit the Wasserman Center for Career Development to interview for full-time employment and summer internships. On-Campus Recruitment Information Sessions are mandatory for participation in the OCR program.
