When designing the Paulson Center, public spaces were also created to not only foster connection amongst our NYU community, but to allow intersection with our neighbors.

Public Atrium

The public atrium is accessible to the public from Bleecker Street on the north side of the building and provides entrances to NYU community members and their registered guests.  There are benches in the climate controlled space. 

Hours open to the public:
Sun–Thu:  8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Fri–Sat:    8:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.

Greene Street

Walk

The Greene Street Walk, a privately owned public space (POPS), which runs along the west side of the Paulson Center at ground level.

Hours:
24 hours, 7 days a week

Playgarden

Designed for children 2 to 5 years old, the Greene Street Playgarden equipment provides learning through play.

Hours:
All days: dawn–dusk
