New York University has an agreement with United Parcel Service (UPS), the world's largest express carrier and package delivery Service Company, for both domestic and international overnight letter service. UPS is NYU's sole provider of express air and land shipping services, however, they will not deliver to a P.O. Box number. For Overnight service to a P.O. Box, you must use U.S. Postal Express Mail next day service.
To establish an account with UPS, please fill-out the new account information form.
For those departments that have established accounts the link below will lead them to the mandatory UPS online shipping tool, CampusShip. You must already be set up in CampusShip to log in. Contact Logistics and Distribution Services for more information and assistance.
For those departments that rarely generate overnight mail/packages and do not wish to open a UPS account, Logistics and Distribution Services can process the occasional request.
Your Special Delivery Solutions (YSDS) is the University’s designated International Customs Broker. YSDS has the Power-Of-Attorney to handle all University international shipping door to door for items that require customs clearance and/or expedited services coming into and going outside of the United States. They can offer you a variety of shipping alternatives which also includes items that are considered to be HazMat in nature.
YSDS also goes to countries where the U.S. Postal Service and none of the private carriers (UPS, FedEx, and DHL) go (i.e., Cuba, Mynamar etc.). For further information, please contact Logistics and Distribution Services.
