Exhibitions at 19 Washington Square North, NYU Abu Dhabi in New York
Since its opening in 2009, 19 Washington Square North has hosted over 20 exhibitions featuring photography, painting, and works on paper in its multi-purpose Events Space. With a focus on connectivity to NYU Abu Dhabi and/or the Middle East and North Africa, the exhibitions highlight research projects of faculty and researchers from across NYU's schools, and have also featured creative works by many leading artists. Exhibitions may be accompanied by artist talks, scholarly panels, or lectures with support from the NYU Abu Dhabi Institute or a 19 Washington Square North.If you are interested in organizing an exhibition at 19 WSN, please submit your proposal here.
The NYUAD Art Gallery continues to be an integral thought partner in the annual planning of the curatorial program, and often facilitates bringing exhibitions from the Gallery or Project Space on Saadiyat Island to the New York campus.

19 Washington Square North is a gateway for scholarly and institutional connectivity between NYU's Abu Dhabi and New York campuses. Its programs offer opportunities for New York and Abu Dhabi faculty to collaborate and its local team of administrators supports the day-to-day business operations of NYU Abu Dhabi in New York. From its central location on the Washington Square campus, 19 WSN shares NYUAD's achievements and global impact with the greater NYU community and the general public, and provides a home away from home for NYUAD students, faculty, and staff.
