Institute of Fine Arts

Since 1932, the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University has earned a reputation as the nation's premier institution for graduate level study and research in art history, archaeology, and conservation. With tuition covering less than one third of the cost of student education, private philanthropy plays an important role in fulfilling the Institute's mission to prepare the next generation of art historians, museum curators, and conservators.

IFA 1932 Fellowship Fund
With a contribution in recognition of the Institute of Fine Arts' founding year, you will make a difference in the life of an incoming student by helping to create much-needed fellowship support.

IFA Alumni Fund
Contributions to the Alumni Fund help support alumni outreach like the Walter S. Cook Lecture, reunions, newsletters, as well as summer stipends for student travel and research, and more.

IFA Annual Fund
This fund, designated for non-alumni donors, provides essential unrestricted support for the Institute of Fine Arts.

IFA Connoisseurs Circle
The Connoisseurs Circle is a special donor-recognition program for individuals with a keen interest in art. Members of this program have an opportunity to audit all lecture courses offered at the Institute, attend exclusive tours of leading exhibitions led by prominent art historians and curators, and are invited to receptions at collectors' homes and artists' studios. In addition, members receive full access to the Institute's world class research library. (minimum contribution $7,500)
