The Society of Retired Faculty
Welcome to the Society of Retired Faculty! Members enjoy unique opportunities to remain connected to the NYU community through lectures and educational programming, volunteering, mentoring, and more.
Society Book Club
Each Fall and Spring semester, the Society chooses two books to read and discuss as a group. Our current book club pick is Why Does Patriarchy Persist? by writer, activist, and University Professor Carol Gilligan and Naomi Snider.
Recordings of Past Events
The Society hosts several virtual events each semester. If you are interested in accessing recordings of past events, please log in to NYU Stream for the library of recorded events.
Below are University publications and communications that are archived on the NYU website:
- Our NYU Newsletter: A University-wide newsletter from President Andrew Hamilton
- Provostial Communications: Communications to the NYU community from Provost Katherine Fleming
- Conversations Podcast: President Andy Hamilton interviews NYU faculty, students, and alumni who are using their intellectual gifts, determination, and creativity to make a profound difference in our world.
