The Photo Bureau serves the NYU community by organizing photo coverage. From assigning photographers to paying vendors, the goal of the Photo Bureau is to manage each project for client convenience.

All images taken by NYU Photo Bureau photographers. 

Post-Production & Image Delivery

Images from each project include mild color correction, editing and archiving of all images to the Photo Bureau archives. Global adjustments only; not print ready.

Upon completion of the photo project, the Photo Bureau will deliver images to clients through an online web gallery. Images can be downloaded. DVDs are available upon request.

Payment, Licensing & Cancellation Policy

NYU clients may pay the Photo Bureau for services by departmental account number or check.

Images created from NYU Photo Bureau projects are licensed to clients only for NYU marketing and editorial purposes. Images can be used in print and online for departmental websites and social media platforms.

Third party distribution and images used for advertising need permission and a separate contract completed by the Photo Bureau. Additional usage fees may apply.

After three (3) years, images will be used for general distribution to the NYU community.

Twenty-four (24) hours notice is needed to cancel a photo coverage project without incurring fees.
