Events Calendar Access

If you need access to the NYU Events Calendar to post events on behalf of your unit, please have a supervisor with existing access email and supply the following information:

  • Name of unit
  • NetID of new user

If your unit would like to have their events included in the public NYU Events Calendar but don't already have access, please email the Events Team to request a new group on behalf of your unit. If you're already creating and sharing events directly to your website, we may be able to import a feed of those events to include within the central calendar.

Important Note: Some schools, academic departments, and administrative units require secondary approval and may take additional time to process.

Access Levels

There are two access levels available in the NYU Events Calendar:

  • Editors are able to create new events and manage RSVPs.
  • Publishers are able to create new events and manage RSVPs, as well as publish, delete, and duplicate events.
By default when a new user is added to a calendar group they receive Publisher level access. The only exception to this is calendar users within the Administrative Management Council, NYU IT, and School of Professional Studies groups, who receive Editor level access.
