On October 8th, the University will be changing the check printing process for paper paychecks. If you receive a physical (paper) paycheck, please review the following information and consider signing up for direct deposit.

What is changing?

Checks will be delivered as they are now, via USPS or at student pickup locations. The only change you will notice is a new look.

  • Your check will arrive in a sealed envelope.
  • The return address will be:
  • New York University
    Bursar Cashiering, Student Center
    383 Lafayette St - 1st Floor
    New York, NY 10003
  • The paystub information remains the same but the format and location of the information has changed.

When is this happening?

Any paycheck dated October 8th or after will have the new design.

What do I need to do?

You do not need to take any action. Simply be aware that while your next paycheck will look different, it is a valid NYU check.

Please consider signing up for direct deposit over physical (paper) paycheck, as it is a faster, more secure, and more sustainable way to receive funds. Enrollment can be completed in just minutes.
