Professor Tuthill is currently teaching Dental Hygiene students in clinic and in radiology at New York University's College of Dentistry in the Department of Dental Hygiene. She also teaches Writing Workshop II, Advanced Business Writing, and Critical Thinking to Dental Hygiene Students as on-line courses. In the past she has taught in the Dental Assisting Program at NYUCD. Professor Tuthill taught two years in the clinic and in the radiology departments at the University of Copenhagen, Dental Hygiene School, and has authorization to practice dental hygiene in Denmark as well as the U.S. She is active in international relations with Dental Hygiene schools abroad and promotes student exchange programs.
