We are now accepting applications for 2014 admission!

Program start dates: July 1 for all clinical programs and Consortium for Translational Orthodontic Research, September 2 for Teaching in Dental Education (T.I.D.E.) Fellowship

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Advanced Programs for International Dentists at New York University College of Dentistry. A complete application must include the following documents which can be uploaded directly to the online application:

  1. A completed online application (click on the link below to begin the application)
  2. A 1-2 page personal statement: Why you are applying to this program, include information on your academic background, your career goals and your qualifications
  3. A letter of recommendation from your Dean, professor, or supervisor (in English or with a certified English translation)
  4. A copy of certified English translation of the applicant's dental school diploma
  5. A copy of certified English translation of the applicant's dental school transcript (listing subjects studied and grades received).
  6. An official copy of a course-by-course evaluation by Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE). This evaluation report provides the U.S. equivalent of each educational credential, including a list of courses studied and grades received. For more information on ECE, visit
  7. A copy of TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score report

  8. A non-refundable application fee of $100 (check or money order that must be drawn from a US banking institution).
  9. Your photo: high quality and passport size.

Admissions Process

  1. Only completed applications can be reviewed
  2. Applications submitted after the January 10th priority deadline will be reviewed based on availability
  3. In some cases, telephone or personal interviews are required
  4. Admissions decision are generally provided within three to five weeks after submission is received
