This summer at NYU, you can choose from an array of 3-, 6-, or 12-week courses designed to help you enhance your transcript, nurture your interests, and prepare for an increasingly competitive marketplace. Along the way, you’ll work with some of our most innovative, talented, and engaging faculty members. By the end of the summer, you’ll have the sense of accomplishment that comes from beginning to master a new language, embarking on a new minor, or making tangible strides toward your chosen career.

Course Options

You have hundreds of courses to choose from. However, to make it easier for you to find classes and co-curricular opportunities that align with your goals, we’ve gathered some highlights into four convenient categories. To maximize your experience, you can pair academic coursework with professional development modules or internships. Visit the NYUAlbert portal to find and register for Summer 2024 courses. Use the “session” filter on the right hand side to help determine your options.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Specific information about tuition and fees can be found on the Office of the Bursar page. Students enrolled in 6 or more credits over the summer may be eligible for financial aid. Visit the Financial Aid website to learn more about financial aid options for summer study.

Housing

NYU offers safe, convenient, and affordable housing options for summer students.

You can enroll in NYU Housing for the full 12-week summer session (May 20–August 15), or either Summer Session I (May 20–July 2) or Summer Session II (July 3–August 15). 

NYU students do not have to be enrolled in courses in order to apply for summer housing. Housing is available to students on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit NYU’s Summer Housing website to view residence hall options, rates, and deadlines, and to apply for housing.

Undergraduate Students: Log in to NYU Connect to view your personalized Success Network. Click the ellipses next to your academic advisor’s name to find their full profile and contact information. 

Graduate Students: You can find your academic advisor’s contact info in your Albert portal in the "Academics" section.

Admitted Visiting Students can make an appointment with a program advisor.

Events and Activities

Supplement your courses and engage with the dynamic NYU community this summer. NYU will offer hundreds of virtual and in-person events that will empower you to connect with students, explore NYC, and delve into fascinating topics.
