NYU Classes (Archive): How to request content in NYU Classes

On September 29th, 2023 at 8PM EST access to NYU Classes will no longer be available to users. After the retirement, instructional content from NYU Classes can only be requested by instructors because they own the instructional materials in course sites and can make them unavailable to students after the end of a semester.

For this reason, students and alumni should reach out to those faculty members for access to content.

Faculty and staff that would like to request content from NYU Classes can contact their local Ed Tech support team for more details.

NYU Classes content that will not be retrievable in an archive request:

INTERNAL NOTES:

Faculty and Administrator requests for NYU Classes content should be directed back to their Ed Tech support team or Instructional Technology Committee (ITC) member for proper approval. If their Ed tech support approves the request, the Ed Tech will fill out the NYU Classes Archive request form in Servicelink and that submission will create an intake that will go directly to the LMS team (NYUIT-Learning Management System Support group). The request form is only accessible to ITC members and their team.

Students or Alumni should contact the instructor of the NYU Classes course for access to instructional content.

For requests that are not for academic courses, such as sites for department or administrative use, project sites, etc. please escalate the request to NYUIT-Learning Management System Support group.
