Exterior of NYU Tel Aviv Residence Hall

The Neighborhood and HaYarakon Park

All NYU Tel Aviv students will live in a modern, spacious Residence Hall in the "Old North", a charming neighborhood in the north of Tel Aviv. Nearby is the famous HaYarakon Park. Often compared to New York’s Central Park, HaYarakon Park has miles of green space, bike and walking lanes, sports facilities, botanical gardens, concert venues, and lakes. Tel Aviv's Port District, a mix of restaurants, shops and beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea, is just a short 20 minute walk along this park from the Residence Hall.

Residence Hall Kitchen and Dining Options

There is a shared kitchen and dining area on the ground floor of the Residence Hall where students can cook and share meals. The kitchen accommodates all dietary needs including separate facilities for kosher preparation.  The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils needed to prepare meals. Students can also dine out at the many cafes and restaurants that are within close proximity to the Residence Hall.

For students who are interested in a meal plan, there are possibilities for this at the nearby Bnei Dan Youth Hostel. Students can inquire about this option upon arrival to Tel Aviv.

Staff & Security

The Residence Hall provides 24-hour doorman/security service. Besides security personnel, the NYU Residence Hall also provides live-in Resident Assistants who help to orient students to local culture and navigate the diverse and exciting city that is Tel Aviv.
