NYU Madrid

Located on Spain's central plateau, the lively capital city of Madrid is the political and cultural center of the country. When you study at NYU Madrid, you will experience the charm of both European and Latin American traditions.

NYU Madrid is located in the city center, just off Calle Gran Via, a short walk from the Museo del Prado and Retiro Park. At the newly renovated academic center you will take classes and attend cultural seminars. The center features a computer lab, student lounge, and a reading room with a reserved book collection.

During your first few days the NYU Madrid staff hosts an orientation where students attend level-appropriate language sessions complemented with lectures and activities that help students get to know their peers. During the semester University-sponsored events include Spanish cuisine tasting, day trips to Spanish cities such as to Segovia and El Escorial, visits to Madrid's museums, and walking tours throughout the city.
