Thanksgiving Break: Nov 22-26
The holiday break begins for students in New York on Wednesday, November 22, with University offices closing at 4pm that day. Residence halls will also be providing programming and opportunities for students to gather for the holiday break.

The registration period for the Spring 2018 semester begins on Monday, November 13. Registration for some courses can be competitive, and students typically make an effort to submit their course choices as early as possible. Students should be encouraged to contact their academic adviser to ensure they are able to register at their scheduled date/time. Also note that students with outstanding balances may be blocked from registering and were recently notified of their status, which can also be checked on NYU's e-Suite or via NYU Albert.
