Welcome Weekend
All members of the NYU community, including NYU Welcome Weekend visitors, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and receive a COVID-19 booster shot (if eligible for the booster based on CDC criteria). You will be required to produce proof of vaccination before you are permitted to enter NYU residence halls or other NYU settings and NYU-sponsored activities, including those that take place off campus. Visitors will receive a wristband to wear during their visit.
This information only applies to NYU Welcome Weekend visitors through August 28, 2022.
- All other NYU-sponsored visitors must comply with these requirements.
- NYU students, faculty, and employees must comply with these requirements.
Please note: We are repurposing our existing guest system to accept exemption requests for Welcome Weekend only. If you see discrepancies about students not being able to sponsor parents/families or about guests with valid exemptions not being able to enter residence halls, please ignore. Everything on this webpage is accurate and should guide your visit.
