Join Manhattan Community Board 2 and NYU for our 30th year of free, family-friendly Halloween fun! For the first time ever, we are hosting a festive virtual Children's Halloween Parade with musical performances, a costume contest, a downloadable activity book and more. The video will premiere on this page at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 31!

The Children's Halloween Parade is made possible through the support of local sponsors. Thanks to our sponsors for making this event possible.

About the Parade

Every year, Manhattan Community Board 2 and NYU host the Annual Children's Halloween Parade, one of the city's largest free children's events on Halloween Day. This year, due to COVID-19, we are hosting the event virtually as a video that will premiere on this page on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 1:00 pm. The virtual parade will feature music, live performances, a halloween costume contest, and a free downloadable activity book!

This time-honored tradition continues to bring CB2, NYU, and the community together in celebration of Halloween – even during the challenges of 2020.

— Arlene Peralta, Master of Ceremony and Senior Director at NYU

Meet the Monsters

Our friendly crew of monsters are here to celebrate Halloween with us. Meet each one! If you tune in for our Children's Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 31 at 1 pm, you'll receive a free PDF coloring book featuring the monsters.
