Overview

New York University is performing standard roof repairs to 18 Waverly Place. The project is scheduled to begin in mid-October and continue until Fall 2022.  

Work Hours

  • Work hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm.
  • Night and weekend work may be required. Neighbors will be given advance notice of night or weekend work.

Current Project Update

December 14, 2022

  • Work will continue through winter recess except on December 26 and January 2.  

 

Scope of Work

  • This project consisits of ababtement, roof repairs, and sidewalk bridging with pipe scaffolding.
  • Sidewalk bridging will be installed around the perimeter of the building for pedestrian safety.
  • As with any active construction site, dust will be generated in the area immediately surrounding the work and noise will be generated by mechanical equipment.
  • All work is weather and site conditions permitting.
