The Woman of and for Equity
This summer, Equity hit the silver screens with a backbone that’s just as strong as its storyline. With Anna Gunn starring as Naomi Bishop, the film takes a deep dive into the women of Wall Street who thrive on competition and making deals to stay equal in the game. It comes as no surprise that some of these powerful women’s resumes were covered with #VioletPride. Meet the alumnae and faculty involved with Equity.
Be Part of the Momentum: Emmanuel Lopez (TSOA ’18)
Being at NYU has been a great life decision. I came to New York as an aspiring actor. Without your help I wouldn't be here. My family is able to pay for a very small amount of my tuition and the rest is covered by loans. I'm so grateful to have your support. This scholarship has inspired me to work even harder because I know that I'm being helped with my career. Thank you — this scholarship has really motivated me to make you as proud as possible!
Trivia: Name one of the two main theories on why NYU chose the color violet to represent the University.
Submit your answer for a chance to win a limited edition NYU t-shirt!
Congratulations to Rhea P. Hamilton (GSAS ’96, STEINHARDT ’94), winner of last edition's raffle. NYU's first Grad Alley was held in 1997.
