Relive your Favorite Moments from #NYUAlumniWeekend
Old classmates, new friends, riveting discussions, exciting programming, and a whole lot of #VioletPride. October 20–21 saw alumni and friends flood Washington Square for a weekend that included the chance to learn from NYU’s top faculty at Alumni College, toast to the NYC skyline at reunion, and explore their old stomping grounds. And of course, to celebrate all the reasons they love NYU!

State of the University Address
"The role of a university is to be original, explore new areas of knowledge and technology, and come up with ideas that have never been done before. NYU is very good at that. But our job as well is to have a social impact and to do good in the world." As part of NYU Alumni Weekend, President Andrew Hamilton laid out his priorities and vision for NYU.
NYU Will Waive Tuition for Displaced Puerto Rican Students
President Andrew Hamilton announced that NYU would admit a special cohort of undergraduate students currently enrolled in Puerto Rican colleges whose education was disrupted by the hurricanes that hit the island in September. NYU will cover their tuition for the spring 2018 semester, as well as housing in a student residence hall, a meal plan, and enrollment in NYU’s student health insurance plan. ©Gallo or ©Goldman: Courtesy of NYU Photo Bureau
