NYU One Day 3.24.22

On March 24, we have 24 hours to show NYU students what Violet pride can do.

NYU One Day, March 24, 2022, offers the NYU community a unique opportunity to support academic excellence and help NYU students thrive. This annual 24-hour day of giving raises tremendous support for current Violets to help them reach their dreams. This year, we need 6,000 members of the NYU community to make a gift in support of student scholarship, helping students to overcome challenges by creating financial support to lift up the next generation of NYU alumni.

Says William Wang (CAS ’17), “I would not have been able to attend New York University without receiving a scholarship. It made my NYU experience possible. It allowed me to be the leader I am today.” Adds fellow alum and current NYU student Michael Hengerer (GAL ’16, LAW ’23), “NYU gives you the opportunity to be surrounded by so many people who are different than you, and who’ve come from different walks of life, and who will challenge the way that you think.”

Here are just a few ways you can help make NYU One Day a success: (Links open in new tabs.)

  • Make a gift of any amount to any area of the University that is most meaningful to you.
  • Attend an event—including a virtual cooking class, New York Rangers game, and so much more, such as events in Houston (TX), the Bay Area (CA), Los Angeles, Seattle (WA), South Florida, New Jersey, Shanghai, Taiwan—where your registration will serve as a donation to support NYU students.
  • Host a Facebook Fundraiser in support of “NYU Alumni.” All donations will go toward student scholarships.
  • Spread the word and encourage others to give by joining #ViralViolets, our social media ambassador program. Be sure to use #NYUOneDay and #NYUAlumni on your social channels.
