Meet NYU’s Leading Woman: Bethany Godsoe (WAG ’01)

Earlier this year, Bethany Godsoe (WAG ’01) was named Associate Vice President for Career and Leadership Development. In her new role, Bethany will provide leadership for the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development and the NYU Leadership Initiative. As co-founder of the NYU Leadership Initiative, adjunct professor, and former Assistant Dean for Enrollment and Student Services at Wagner, Bethany brings a long track record of success both in and outside of NYU along with her.
The NYU Wasserman Center has a been a long-time benefit for NYU alumni, providing career services such as mock-interviews, coaching sessions, professional development workshops, and more. Year after year, the Center boasts impressive statistics for recent graduates of the University. In 2017, 96.5 percent of all undergraduates had a job or were enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation. Read the full report.
All alumni are welcome to use Wasserman Center resources at any stage of their career, completely free of charge. Alumni who have graduated within a year will continue to use the Center as students. Alumni seeking benefits more than a year after graduation can meet with and participate in events and services tailored for more experienced job seekers.
