Recent NYU Communications on New Guidelines, Vaccinations, and More
April 15, 2021
It’s been one year since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Though New York State (NYS) has steadily eased restrictions on gatherings, restaurants, travel, and other venues, the University has emphasized that the relaunching of campus activities will proceed more slowly.
Read this recent message from Dr. Carlo Ciotoli, MD, Executive Lead, COVID-19 Prevention & Response Team, which reviews NYU's approach to the easing of NYS restrictions. The communication also includes FAQs for fully vaccinated individuals and detailed guidance for community members who are vaccine eligible.
Dr. Ciotoli, Provost Katherine Fleming, and Executive Vice President Martin Dorph recently announced the postponement of course registration for graduate and undergraduate students due to planning for in-person instruction in the fall. Additionally, you can find information about new federal funds for direct student aid such as the COVID Emergency Relief Grant.
