SAT, ACT, and IB results are not the only way to satisfy your standardized testing requirement, and our admissions committee views all of our accepted qualifications equally. As part of NYU's Flexible Testing policy, we accept dozens of examinations and qualifications from around the world — and the list is getting longer.

Note: NYU will remain test optional for students applying for Fall 2022 admission. However, if you are in a curriculum outside of the United States from which we accept final graduation exams for standardized testing, we will require that you send predicted or final results to complete your application.

You may be eligible for admission, even if you are not taking a standardized test that is accepted from your home country. If you have questions on your eligibility, please email admissions@nyu.edu.
