The NYU community recognizes the devastation caused by Hurricane Michael throughout the Florida Panhandle and the Gulf Coast. Our deepest sympathies go out to those who have been affected in any way by the storm. We understand this is a stressful time for students and families, and we are here to help.

For applicants affected by the storm:

  • If you wanted to apply for Early Decision I, don't worry – you still have time to prepare your application for Early Decision II and Regular Decision – you won't be disadvantaged for choosing a later notification plan.
  • If you’re ready to submit your application for Early Decision I on November 1, but your examination results are delayed due to the Hurricane, you can self-report your scores by emailing a screenshot of them to us. This will enable us to expedite our review of your application. Your official scores will be required if you are admitted and choose to enroll at NYU.

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at admissions@nyu.edu or call our helpline at 212-998-4500.
