NYU online Precollege offers rising high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience academic life at New York University. This academically rigorous program places high school students in six-week, intensive, college-level courses with current college students.
Through online Precollege, students gain academic credit which may be applied to a future degree, and engage in interactive enrichment programming designed to prepare them for college.
Online courses are available in more than 30 academic areas. With NYU Precollege, you can explore the archeological history of New York City, begin to master a foreign language, practice the art of journalism, explore engineering and design, or delve into business and finance.
Led by NYU faculty, online courses are immersive and interactive, allowing students to engage with their professors and collaborate with their classmates from around the world.

As a Precollege student, you will receive personal academic advising and be connected to NYU online resources, events, and services. Develop your research skills using the NYU Library System, engage with your classmates through virtual events and activities, and get the most out of online learning with NYU's remote learning resources.
In addition to credit-bearing classes, Precollege students can attend a series of free workshops geared toward preparing them for the college application process.
