NYU's Math Program for Young Minds is a 13-week long online program for mathematically talented middle school students in grades 7-8. The program provides a mathematically rich environment to middle school students interested in mathematics, and is designed to encourage them to explore advanced mathematical topics.

Through online classes, students­ are introduced to college level math concepts while building problem solving skills and abstract reasoning. Topics incude Introduction to Number Theory and Introduction to Topology and Geometry. Students will have weekly meetings with faculty and teaching assistants. All sessions will be highly interactive with collaborative group work and problem solving activities.

Academically strong applicants from underserved communities are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

Eligible applicants will be middle school students currently enrolled in the 7th or 8th grade who have an interest in mathematics and are eager to learn advanced mathematical ideas.
