NYU is pleased to offer newly admitted veterans and service members receiving tuition assistance access to the U.S. Department of Education’s “Financial Aid Shopping Sheet.” This standardized form is intended to make financial aid offers received from multiple schools easier for students to read and compare. This is being provided as a condition under the Executive Order on Establishing Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions Serving Service Members, Veterans, Spouses and Other Family Members (E.O. 13607).
The Shopping Sheet is not meant to replace the award information given to you by the Office of Financial Aid through the NYU Albert system, but intended to complement your award. You cannot accept or decline financial aid offered, read specific information about how to secure your aid, nor read detailed information related to your eligibility through the Shopping Sheet.
Newly admitted military students who have been reviewed for financial aid eligibility may access their Shopping Sheet on the “Financial Aid” section of the Albert Student Center, a secure student portal:
- Log in to your Albert Student Center
- Click “Accept/Decline Financial Aid”
- Click the correct aid year
- Click “Shopping Sheet”
Students who have specific questions about their award or the data on their Shopping Sheet are encouraged to reach out to the Office of Financial Aid for financial aid information and clarification. Please call (212) 998-4444 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
