The NYU Community—our alumni, friends, classmates and parents—have joined together to help support students facing financial strain as a result of the COVID-19 situation.

For this reason, we have established the NYU COVID-19 RELIEF GRANT to help support hardships you might be experiencing such as:

  • Unexpected expense of travel home
  • Loss of income
  • Other expense associated with inaccessibility of university facilities and services

The process to apply is simple and is open to all students - undergraduate and graduate. Students simply need to apply for NYU COVID-19 RELIEF GRANT following the process below. Financial Aid counselors will review appeals within two business days.

To Access the Appeal Form:

  • Log in to your NYU Albert Student Center
  • Click the ‘Finances’ tab
  • Click the ‘COVID-19 & Financial Appeal’ button
  • Complete and submit

Please be sure to submit the COVID-19 sections of the appeal form.
