Summer in Athens students on an excursion

Thank you for visiting the family resource page. We look forward to welcoming your student for a CAS Summer Abroad experience. Study abroad is an opportunity to discover a new city and country, broaden ways of thinking, and experience new cultures and ways of being in the world. It is exciting and sometimes challenging to think about the transition to a new place, but we hope the following links and resources, designed to provide helpful information and important contacts, will ease the process. Please note that each program operates within NYU's Global Network and your student will have access to health and wellness resources, and a team of trained professionals at each step of the journey.

The links below offer helpful information on many topics regarding study away. These materials discuss ways to help students transition to life abroad and plan for appropriate physical and mental health care overseas. You'll notice a common theme--that your student's safety and well-being are our top priority at all times.

Please note: We would like you to be involved in your student’s pre-departure and study away experience, but please understand that FERPA and HIPAA regulations prevent us from sharing certain types of student information.

If you would prefer direct deposit of your refund, please carefully read the instructions for information on how to set up a direct deposit for your refund on the Bursar's website.
