Incoming Liberal Studies and Global Liberal Studies First Year Students who will be enrolling at NYU for their first year in Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, or Washington, DC, follow the financial aid process described by the NYU Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
All students studying with NYU Global Programs at locations outside of the U.S. are enrolled in international health coverage through GeoBlue at no additonal cost.
All students are expected to maintain valid domestic health insurance over the course of their year away. Students usually maintain the domestic insurance coverage that is offered through either their home institution or their parent/guardian’s insurance plan. GeoBlue is valid only for the dates of your study away program.
In the weeks immediately prior to the start the semester, you will receive an email from NYU Student Insurance/GeoBlue with instructions about creating your GeoBlue profile so you can print your health insurance card.
Global Travel Assistance
Provided at no additional cost to the student, this service provides assistance through one of the world's largest providers of medical and security evacuation as well as general travel aid (e.g., lost document assistance). This company provides 24-hour global services with the help of our site staff to our students abroad.
Students planning to travel extensively outside the program parameters on weekends and holidays should budget accordingly. ** With the exception of tuition, all costs are estimated and may vary depending on student spending.
NYU's electronic billing system is the official means of generating tuition bills for all enrolled students. Within a few weeks of registering for classes, students will receive a message at their official NYU email address notifying them that a bill for tuition, fees, and housing is available.
Please visit the NYU Bursar website for details about the E-bill process.
