Centers & Institutes
The following centers, institutes and initiatives at NYU are important pieces of our collective effort to combat inequality across a broad spectrum of manifestations locally, nationally and abroad.
Leaders of Institutes and Centers shared their visions for NYU as "a place of courage. The courage to lead new thinking; a space for uncomfortable conversations; a place for creating and testing the big ideas that work to drive down inequality." Others suggested that CCII offers the promise of developing, testing, and sharing "a reproducible structure for connecting thinkers, researchers, and activists across disciplines, geographic areas, and skill sets to tackle large scale issues of inequality and equity."
