Awards Wednesday

Join us on Wednesdays from 11AM-12PM EST to learn about a variety of postgraduate opportunities available through the office. We will cover programs that provide funding for graduate school, independent research and creative activity, teaching, and professional opportunities. These sessions will provide a general overview of awards such as the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, NSF GRFP, Schwarzman, Knight-Hennessy, and many more! Learn more about these opportunities and the ways in which the Global Awards team can support you in your postgraduate endeavors.

Thinking Thursday

Join us on Thursdays from 11AM-12PM EST to learn about a number of postgraduate opportunities intended for a distinct cadididate profile. These awards are for students who meet certain criteria based on their intended career path, academic interests, or a community or population they identify as belonging to.

We will cover opportunities available to specific populations, including but not limited to, Pell Grant recipients, students interested in pursuing a career in public service, US military service members, veterans and their spouses, as well as applicants from underrepresented backgrounds such as students of color, women, low-income students, first-generation college students, LGBTQ+ students, and students from rural areas.

Fulbright Friday

Join us on Fridays from 11AM-12PM EST to learn about the Fulbright US Student Program, a postgraduate opportunity that offers funding to US citizens from all disciplines and academic backgrounds to conduct independent research, pursue graduate study, or teach English abroad while expanding your intellectual and cultural horizons. In these sessions, we will introduce the various types of Fulbright grants, the application process and components, and NYU's timeline for applying to the 2024-25 competition.
