Between March 2020 through March 2021, NYUWomxn100 is a series of programs and initiatives to commemorate and elevate the incredible progress and ongoing pursuits of womxn of transgender, non-binary, and cisgender experiences in the 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment.  NYUWomxn100 builds on local and national centennial commemorations and highlights intersectional, international, historical, contemporary, and shifting notions of women, gender, and womanhood in acknowledgment of the efforts of all women, including those who have been excluded, erased, marginalized, or made invisible.

All of the programming seeks to acknowledge the complicated and various histories of women, and the relevant cultural, artistic, and scientific endeavors that have and continue to advance representation and equity for women across race, creed, religion, sex, country of origin, ability, sexual and/or gender identity/orientation, and socio-educational, political, and economic status(es), for over a century.
