NYC's Economic Development Corporation recently launched a $100 million effort to turn New York into the cyber security capital of the world, with NYU as one its key partners for offering certifications and degrees. And NYU Tandon School of Engineering's NY Cyber Fellows will gain experience responding to simulated network attacks within NYC Cyber Command's Virtual Cyber Range.

Geoff Brown, head of NYC Cyber Command says, “What keeps me up at night is not only keeping up with the pace of technology but making sure we continue to attract the type of talent that needs to join the mission and fight the good fight to come.”
