NYU in Brooklyn

We are preparing students with skills for the innovation and entrepreneurship jobs of tomorrow. Through the fusion of science, technology, and the creative arts—a signature feature of both NYU and Brooklyn’s burgeoning tech sector—our students, researchers, and world-class faculty are discovering new fields of study, working with emerging technologies, and combining disciplines to address the world’s greatest challenges, drive tomorrow’s economy, and enhance the human experience.

Our growing presence in Brooklyn, anchored by the Tandon School of Engineering, provides new spaces where engineers and artists will work side by side at the intersection of technology and emerging media. Our new 370 Jay Street building features a media commons, audio labs, mo-cap labs, virtual reality rooms, black boxes, recording studios, maker spaces as well as performances opportunities, and an exhibition hall—all located  together to deliberately accelerate innovation.  And with additional opportunities at our global campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, and our 11 study abroad locations, the possibilities are endless.
