Annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure Process for Administrators

In furtherance of NYU’s commitment to high ethical standards and compliance with University policies and laws, each year, the Office of Compliance and Risk Management administers the University's Annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure Process for Administrators. As part of this process, the Office of Compliance and Risk Management requests designated administrators to complete an Annual Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (Annual Questionnaire).

Completing the Annual Questionnaire

As we launch this year’s Annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure Process for Administrators, designated administrators should expect to receive an email with a link to the Annual Questionnaire from Convercent, an NYU service provider that administers this process for the Office of Compliance and Risk Management. This year’s Annual Questionaire will be sent to designated administrators in May 2023. Please be sure to look for your initial welcome email and invitation from Convercent to get started. You can log back into your employee dashboard as often as needed to complete the required action prior to the specified due date by going to NYU Annual Conflict of Interest Questionnaire.

What Time Period Does the Annual Questionnaire Cover?

The period covered by the Annual Questionnaire includes the full academic year beginning September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022, as well as the current academic year, from September 1, 2022 through the date of completion of the Annual Questionnaire.

When is the Annual Questionnaire Due?

The Annual Questionnaire will be due June 2023 for designated administrators at Washington Square, NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU Shanghai. Recipients will receive email reminders regarding any disclosure action required. Please be sure to look for your initial welcome email and invitation from Convercent to get started. For technical questions regarding your Annual Disclosure Form, please contact support@convercent.com or 1-800-335-7639.

Ad Hoc Disclosure

In addition to the Annual Questionnaire, NYU administrators, faculty, and researchers are to disclose non-research conflicts of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest as they may come up from time to time outside of the Annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure Process and does not include researchers or faculty. You can report them to your supervisor, nyucompliance@nyu.edu, through Convercent, or any one in the Office of Compliance and Risk Management.
