New York University’s residence hall energy reduction challenge, NYUnplugged, is taking place beginning Monday, April 15, 2013 and ends on Monday April, 22, 2013, in conjunction with NYU’s celebration of “Earth Week 2013. Established through a Sustainability Task Force Green Grant in 2008, “NYUnplugged” was conceived of by Adam Brock, a student at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study.

NYU will create a new academic services hub for students to support them in achieving academic success. The new center – to be called the Academic Resource Center – will be a one-stop location for academic support and advising services, and a satellite location for other student support services, such as financial aid and career counseling.
