Researchers Named to 2020 List for Publishing Papers in Top 1 Percent by Citations
Twenty-six New York University faculty members have been named to the 2020 Highly Cited Researchers list from Clarivate Analytics.
The annual list recognizes world-class researchers who have demonstrated significant influence in their fields, which at NYU, range from cardiology and neurology to physics and public health. The scientists and social scientists chosen from around the world have published multiple papers that rank in the top 1 percent by citations in their fields over the past decade (2009-2019) in Clarivate’s Web of Science citation index.
The methodology that determines the “who’s who” of influential researchers draws on the data and analysis performed by bibliometric experts from the Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate.
