Please join NYU’s Rudin Center for Transportation for a lively panel discussion on the role of women in transportation on Monday, May 13, at 9:30 at NYU Wagner (The Puck Building, The Rudin Family Forum for Civic Dialogue, 295 Lafayette St., at the corner of Houston, 2nd Floor, New York, N.Y. 10012).

The event highlights the exceptional careers of four women holding major leadership positions in transportation in New York: panelists Jamey Barbas of the Tappan Zee Project, NYS Thruway Authority; Meera Joshi, former NYC Taxi & Limousine commissioner, and current NYU Wagner visiting scholar; Midori Valdivia, chief of staff to the MTA president; and Veronica Vanterpool, deputy director, Vision Zero Network and board member, MTA.

They will discuss their paths to leadership positions, how they achieve meaningful change, and explore effective approaches to tackle career challenges, moderated by Sarah M. Kaufman, associate director of the NYU Rudin Center.
