The New York University Creative Writing Program’s Fall 2018 Reading Series concludes in December with events featuring Donna Masini (Dec. 6) as well as Lisa Ko and Helen Schulman (Dec. 13), among others.

All events are held in the program’s Greenwich Village home, the Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House, located at 58 W. 10th Street (between 5th and 6th Aves.) and are free and open to the public—unless otherwise noted. Natalie Eilbert is the author of Indictus, winner of Noemi Press's 2016 Poetry Prize, as well as the poetry collection, Swan Feast. Monica Ferrell is the author of three books of fiction and poetry, most recently the collection You Darling Thing (Four Way, 2018). Donna Masini is the author of three collections of poetry, That Kind of Danger; Turning to Fiction; and most recently, 4:30 Movie (W. W. Norton, 2018), as well as the novel, About Yvonne.

Lisa Ko is the author of The Leavers, which won the 2016 PEN/Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction and was a finalist for the 2017 National Book Award for Fiction, the 2018 PEN/Hemingway Award, and the 2017 Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers Award. Helen Schulman is the author of the novels This Beautiful Life (a New York Times Best Seller), A Day At The BeachP.S., The Revisionist and Out Of Time, and the short story collection Not A Free Show. Her new novel, Come With Me, will be published in December 2018. Hosted by NYU Creative Writing Program senior faculty member and National Book Critics Circle Award winner Darin Strauss.
