NYU King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center will host New Yorker writer Jon Lee Anderson, interviewing Cuban journalist Leonardo Padura (Oct. 4), Argentinian poets Tamara Kamenszein and Sylvia Molloy (Oct. 13), and more in October at its 53 Washington Square South location (betw. Sullivan and Thompson Streets).

All events are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Award-winning Cuban writer Leonardo Padura, in Dialogue with Journalist Jon Lee Anderson
The New Yorker’s Jon Lee Anderson will be the host of a public interview with one of the major Cuban journalists and writers of today, Leonardo Padura. As of 2007, Padura became one of the island’s most internationally acclaimed writers for his work depicting recent Cuban social and cultural realities through fiction. He was given the Princess of Asturias Award for Literature in 2015.
