New York University will host “Places as Brands: International Relations in the Age of Information,” a one-day conference featuring leaders from the business, entertainment, and academic sectors on the role and impact of branding on the global stage, on Fri., April 7.
New York University will host “Places as Brands: International Relations in the Age of Information,” a one-day conference featuring leaders from the business, entertainment, and academic sectors on the role and impact of branding on the global stage, on Fri., April 7, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at NYU’s Center for Genomics and Systems Biology, 12 Waverly Place, room G08 (between Mercer and Greene Sts.).
Among the featured speakers are Mitch Garber, chairman and CEO of Cirque du Soleil, and George Logothetis, chairman and CEO of the Libra Group.
Sessions include: “The 2017 Best Countries Index”; “The Arab Turmoil: A Brand?”; “The Psychology of Branding”; “Beyond Branding: Public Diplomacy Today”; and “Micro-Marketing Solutions for Places,” among others.
Other speakers include: Anna Blender, senior vice president at BAV Consulting; Rami Kleinmann, co-founder of the Albert Einstein Legacy Project; and Brad Staples, Global CEO of APCO Worldwide, among others.
Ambassador Ido Aharoni, a 25-year veteran of Israel’s foreign service and a global distinguished professor of international relations at NYU, will deliver the conference’s closing remarks, “10 Things I Learned about Country Branding.”
