Stanford University Professor William Newsome will deliver “Seeing and Deciding: Neural Mechanisms of Perceptual Choice,” NYU ISDM’s 7th annual Dean for Science Lecture in Neuroeconomics, on Mon., March 6, 5-6:30 p.m. at NYU’s Kimmel Center for University Life, Rosenthal Pavilion (60 Washington Square South [at LaGuardia Place], 10th floor).

In his lecture, Newsome, Vincent V. C. Woo Director of the Stanford Neurosciences Institute, will trace the evolution of our understanding of perceptual decision-making over the past 35 years, closing with a summary of contemporary challenges in the field.
